Two FINREAD presentation seminars will be held in November 2003 in San Francisco and New York. After Europe and Asia, the FINREAD e-commerce security solution is continuing its world tour on the crest of the EMV wave. Two FINREAD seminars will be held in the United States: one on 10th November in San Francisco, and the other on 14th November in New York. The aim is to present the FINREAD standards and card readers, as well as the Embedded FINREAD solution, to manufacturers and banks interested in smart card applications and secure payment solutions. William Vanobberghen, Senior Coordinator of the FINREAD project, Inma Rodriguez-Blanco, Technical Coordinator, will detail the specific features of the new Embedded FINREAD standard that is based on the same principles of security and interoperability as FINREAD, but extended to mobile phones, PDAs, and set top boxes.
