2003, a record year!
From 2nd to 4th March 2004, Cartes Bancaires attended the CIT 2004 Congress and Security Congress (Madrid) more specifically devoted to the migration to EMV.

From 2nd to 4th March 2004, smart card and secure payment application professionals met at the Madrid Congress Centre in Spain for the annual CIT Congress which has become a leading international event.
Largely devoted to the switch to the EMV standard in Europe, more specifically in Spain, CIT 2004 also addressed other EMV-related topics, such as, transaction security, loyalty programmes, e-ticketing, the 3D-Secure standard, the creation of a Single European Payment Zone, biometrics, etc.
On 2nd March, David Stephenson, Manager of International Affairs at Cartes Bancaires, gave a presentation reviewing the migration to EMV in France.
