Blue Book figures
On Saturday, 5th June 2004, the day before Mother's day, over 30 million transactions were made by bankcard. A new record!

As every year, Cartes Bancaires published at the end first quarter (in French and English) a 12-page brochure in small format detailing CB's key figures for the previous year. It includes a section on the background of the bankcard, CB projects for 2004, a review of the current situation with regard to EMV, a diagram of the path of a transaction and, of course, all CB's key figures for 2003 in table and graph form. It also has a section with advice for cardholders and retailers on how best to use their CB bankcard. In short, an essential little guidebook!
