On 31st May 2005, Yves Randoux, CEO of Cartes Bancaires, and Didier Dhennin, CEO of Atos Worldline, signed a contract for the upgrade of the Cartes Bancaires Information System (SICB), the main aim of which is to cut operating and maintenance costs.
The SICB is an interbanking system which manages electronic payment transaction data for all CB banks. It is designed to make the exchange of data more efficient and to combat fraud more effectively.
Under the responsibility of CB, the technical operations are managed by Atos Worldline.
