Considerable processing capacity, maximum security, lower operating costs, and that’s not all. The result of lengthy and complex preparatory work, e-rsb is the latest illustration of Cartes Bancaires’ and its members’ expertise in the area of electronic payment. The technology and flexibility of this new network give CB Banks a real competitive advantage within the context of SEPA. It will improve their position in commercial offers as well as the quality of the service they provide.
Also, they will now be able to accompany their clients working in other European countries. Designed for future capacity extensions, the new network can also be opened up to other monetary flows required by banks.
e-rsb, a European convergence tool for banks, will therefore contribute to the development of electronic payment in the European Union just as the European legislative context makes further rapid headway towards making SEPA a reality.
