Distance selling is continuing to gain traction in France thanks to increasingly secure payment systems. Within this context, Cartes Bancaires together with ACSEL (French association of online service providers and retailers) and FEVAD (French Federation of Distance Selling Companies) have written a practical guide for e-retailers. This guide, available at the end of the year, addresses issues such as good practices, payment-related risk, online authentication procedures, what to in the event of suspected fraudulent payments, and prevention assistance.
The guide will be downloadable in pdf format from the Cartes Bancaires website, or from the ACSEL and FEVAD websites.
