The Executive Committee of CB

The committee defines the general policies of CB, validates requests to admit or exclude members, directs its work, votes its budget and validates the rules of the CB system. It is constituted for two years and includes:

• The first ten main members (in terms of voting rights);
  
  
• The two other main members elected by a college of the main members, providing that they are independent of the first ten;
  
  
• A Chairman appointed by the Executive Committee;
  
  
• An observer from Banque de France.
